Christian Jankowski's conceptual and humorous works are the result of his performative contact with the world outside the art world. And your bird can sing is the product of an action in a factory hall in China where CD players are produced in the form of colorful electric guitars. Jankowski encouraged the factory workers to play his own electric guitar, recording 34 solos by 34 workers, which were ultimately burned onto CD and inserted into the guitars themselves. The artist plays here with the relationship between the worker and the product to be manufactured and, not least, lovingly shows the human aspect of global economic relations.
