Feminist School of Painting with Claudia Holzinger

Face painting: a short break from yourself
Who invented make-up and why do we usually wear it the way we're told we should? Why is there only the term children's make-up, but no term that means the same thing for adults? Can I be a cucumber today - even if only briefly - and not a human being? This workshop is about looking at make-up not as a means of embellishment, but as a tool for slipping into different roles. Together with Claudia Holzinger, we will put make-up on each other - and anything goes. Whether you want to transform yourselves into fairy-tale characters, animals, fruit or tools is entirely up to you and the other course participants. After we have done each other's make-up, each participant will have their portrait taken in the mobile photo studio.
