On Long Thursday, you have the opportunity to end the day with some great art. Come to the Kunstpalais between 6 and 8 p.m. free of charge and enjoy a break from everyday life while taking in the works on display in the exhibitions. A paintbrush becomes a dress, a folding ruler becomes the plumage of a flamingo, and a handful of dice transforms into a Dalmatian. In his famous Sunday Sketches, Christoph Niemann breathes new life into everyday objects with just a few strokes of his pen. The results surprise us, make us smile, and often tell a completely unexpected story. On our tour of the museum, we explore Niemann's unique perspective on the world. In the museum workshop, we get creative ourselves: we take everyday objects and turn them into funny new creatures—and make up exciting stories about them.
