Notes for your visit
even in times of the pandemic, it is important to us to make your visit at Kunstpalais safe and at the same time as pleasant and smooth as possible.
A pre-registration for your museum visit is not required.
In accordance with the current Bavarian Infection Protection Measures Ordinance, we ask you to note the following: As of Thursday, September 2, the “3G rule” applies. This means that the visit of the museum is only possible for vaccinated, recovered and tested persons.
Proof of recovery
Those who have recovered will need proof regarding the presence of prior infection with SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus in embodied or digital form in English, French, German, Italian or Spanish. This proof must be based on a test by laboratory diagnostics by means of nucleic acid detection (PCR, PoC-PCR or other methods of nucleic acid amplification technology), which dates back at least 28 days and at most six months. In addition to a PCR test, a certificate of segregation from the public health department, for example, also counts as proof.
Proof of vaccination
Proof of complete vaccination against COVID-19 with a vaccine approved in the European Union is equivalent to the required test proof from day 15 after the final vaccination. This can be proven with the vaccination certificate in embodied or digital form, in which the vaccination is documented in accordance with § 22 IfSG. If no vaccination certificate is available or presented at the time of vaccination, the documentation is done by issuing a so-called vaccination certificate, which contains the same information. This is also suitable as proof of a complete vaccination.
Proof of testing
A written or electronic test document as negative evidence of infection with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus is required from tested persons based on
1. a PCR test, PoC-PCR test, or a test by other methods of nucleic acid amplification technique performed 48 hours or less ago,
2. a PoC antigen test performed not more than 24 hours ago, or
3. an antigen test approved by the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices and carried out under supervision for self-administration by laypersons (self-tests), which was carried out no more than 24 hours ago,
which otherwise complies with the provisions of the COVID-19 Protective Measures Exemption Ordinance.
Children up to their sixth birthday are exempt from the requirement to provide proof of testing. Students* who are subject to regular testing as part of their school attendance are also exempt.
